Amit Sarda is the Managing Director of Soulflower, a clean beauty brand focused on natural and biotech-led skin and hair care solutions for Indian consumers. He has been part of the company's journey from its early days in natural personal care to building it into a brand with a strong presence across e-commerce and quick commerce channels in India, along with a growing international footprint.
He has consistently focused on identifying emerging shifts in consumer behavior and translating them into relevant product categories. Under his leadership, Soulflower has developed a wide range of hair care solutions designed for common Indian concerns such as hair fall, dandruff, and premature greying, combining traditional oiling practices with modern bioactives.
Amit brings hands-on experience across multiple industries including apparel, automotive, textiles, handicrafts, and personal care. He began his entrepreneurial journey early with the apparel brand Ruf & Tuf and went on to become one of the youngest CEOs of a BSE-listed company.
He was also an early adopter of e-commerce and has played a key role in shaping Soulflower's go-to-market strategy across digital platforms. His approach combines product innovation with a strong focus on accessibility and distribution, enabling the brand to reach customers in the remotest cities across India.
At the core of his leadership is a clear emphasis on customer experience. Initiatives such as interactive in-store concepts and personalized product experiences reflect this focus on building deeper consumer connections.
Amit Sarda is associated with several industry bodies and currently serves on the board of the World Trade Center Mumbai, All India Association of Industries, and the Bombay Chamber of Commerce & Industry. He is also Co-Chair of the Young Bombay Forum.
